#11: Flyer To make this awesome astronomy club flyer. I set up a horizontal 4 by 6 page. Next, I used the gradient tool to set up an awesome background that emulated that of outer space to match the galactic theme and I added stars with the stamp tool. I also found some pictures of an astronaut and a group of people gazing at the stars. Then I typed out all of the information that possible participants would need to know. I then used a series of blending options to create different effects on the larger letters. These effects include a glass effect and plastic text. Lastly, I saved my flyer as a JPEG and PSD just in case I wanted to edited it.
#12: Texture: To add this awesome text to this blazer I first open my fashion piece of choice into Adobe Photoshop. I personally didn't pick a dress like the other girls. I chose this cool red blazer that reminded me of the Griffyndor house from Harry Potter. I then chose a texture. For this blazer I chose a galaxy print. As you can see the galaxy theme continues. I opened my texture into Adobe Photoshop and clipped it over my blazer. After that I played with the setting of the texture until it look AWESOME. Lastly, I saved it as a JPEG and PSD and posted it here.
#13: Food Bank Flyer: To create this interesting food choice flyer I first chose an unhealthy snack and a healthy snack you can substitute it for. I chose skittles and peanuts. I then found a picture on Google images of skittles bag with skittles coming out of it. I then lassoed the the skittles part of the picture and pasted peanuts over it. I then modified the, "Taste the rainbow" slogan to, "Taste the Protein". I went to blending options and made the title metallic and bold. Then I added scientific fact of how peanuts were beneficial to or health and BAM this awesome flyer was born.
#14: To create my frightening but cut Jack-O-Lantern I first found a plump orange pumpkin on google images. I then used a magnetic lasso to wrap the pumpkin and I copied and pasted it on to a black background and used the eraser tool to smooth out the edges. I then used the pen tool to make the eyes, mouth, nose, and eyebrows. Then I used a series of blending options to create a glowing affect on the effect. I lastly used the brush tool to add a glowing brushed finish as if the candles in my Jack-Ol- Lantern are shining around the pumpkin.
#15a: To create this texture design of the map of the word I first found the map on Google images. Next, I found the very texture brick wall. I copy and pasted the image of my map to the brick background. Then I changed the opacity of the map image so the brick layer becomes visible. Then I saved the work in progress to displace the image so the creases and the bumps become visible.
#15b: To paint the face of this amazing scientist I first found an ideal picture of his face and a picture of a galaxy since he's a physicist and all. Then I just followed the steps I took in the previous assignment and VIOLLA this beautiful face came to life.
#16: To create to add a motion blur image to this skateboarder I first found this image on Google. I then went to filters and went to filter and selected motion blur under to blur section, I changed the angle of the blur to -8 degrees and changed the pixels from 999 to 25. Lastly, I used the brush tool to clear up the subject in the image and I left his feet and legs and skateboard blurred.
#17: To add rosy pink cheeks to this vendetta mask I first set the default colors in as black and white then I selected the quick mask button. Next I selected the brush tool and changed the diameter to fit the masks cheeks then I selected a rosy blush looking color. I brushed in the masks cheeks. Then I switched the foreground colors and painted over my errors. Lastly, I turned off the quick mask and inverted the cheeks and BAM.
#18: To add this vibrant glow affect to my idol Harry Potter I first found this awesome picture of him waving his wand. Next, I duplicated the layer of his face and converted it for smart filter. Then I added the Gaussian Blur filter and changed the radius to 5, so it would not out shine his glory with the blur. I also added a layer mask and used the brush tool to bring out his eyes and wand. Lastly, I played with the opacity to adjust his awesomeness.

#19: So today I started using a new program- Adobe Illustrator. I opened up a 550 by 550 pixel page. I then created all the shape components of the flash drive with the shape tool. I also chose the dimensions by simply clicking the page and I all merged all of the shapes to create a smooth shape model. I then selected each shape individually and added a gradient to give a light bending effect.
#20 (Test): Making the this wireless phone with Adobe
Illustrator with no assistance was probably the bane of my
Photoshop/Illustrator existence. I first create a shape that looked like a
standard wireless home phone and chose the color I wanted. Next I did a series
of offset paths (-2) to give dense 3D phone look. I created numerous
rectangular shapes and played with the gradient tool to make a glare on the
screen of the phone. After that, I made a receiver at the top of the phone with
the ellipse tool. Lastly, I added the numbers and the finishing touches like
that the buttons and letters.
